This role is ideal if you’re passionate about inclusive education and want a rewarding position where no two days are the same. You’ll be helping students with additional learning needs feel safe, supported, and confident in their learning.

You don’t need to be a qualified teacher – just a positive attitude, confidence, and a genuine desire to support young people.
What your day might look like:
Delivering pre-planned lessons and activities in SEN settings / classes
Supporting pupils to stay engaged, encouraged, and focused
Adjusting activities to suit individual needs, including autism, complex learning difficulties, and SEMH needs
Promoting positive behaviour and helping create a calm, supportive classroom
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
Making sure every child feels safe, respected, and valued
