£600–£900 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

New Directions are currently recruiting for a Year 2 Teacher to work in a welcoming primary school based in Salford, starting as soon as possible. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Full-time class teacher role, planning and delivering engaging lessons to a Year 2 class in line with the National Curriculum and supporting pupils as they prepare for the end of Key Stage 1.
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using formative and summative assessment to inform planning and ensure all children make excellent progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, working closely with Teaching Assistants, parents, and the wider school team to support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

The Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2, with a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and end-of-key-stage expectations. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also encouraged to apply.
