As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, work with pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment. Every day is different, offering valuable experience across a range of schools and age groups.
Responsibilities
Support teachers with classroom activities and learning.
Assist pupils individually and in small groups.
Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and progress.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents where appropriate.
Adapt to different school settings and classroom environments.
What we’re looking for
A genuine interest in working with children and young people.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, reliable, and professional approach.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility and willingness to work across a variety of schools in Flintshire.
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential, as full support and training will be provided.

Essential Requirements
Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
Right to work in the UK.
Ability to provide satisfactory professional references.
