We’re recruiting 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of primary schools on the Wirral from September 2026.

The Role
Providing dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with a range of learning needs
Promoting children’s learning, development and wellbeing throughout the school day
Working closely with class teachers and SEND teams to deliver personalised support
Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to help them succeed both academically and socially
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or voluntary setting is desirable
Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
A patient, caring and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, adaptable and committed to making a positive impact
