The Role

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of literature and language while helping students achieve their full academic potential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons.
• Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve excellent outcomes.
• Contributing to the wider school community and departmental activities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills.
• A commitment to raising achievement and maintaining high expectations.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
