New Directions Education is currently recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across the Leeds area.

The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
Supervise classes in the absence of the classroom teacher.
Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Support students to complete their work and maintain a positive learning environment.
Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a classroom-based role is essential.
Strong classroom management skills.
Confident working with secondary-aged students.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A flexible, reliable and professional approach.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
