New Directions Education is looking for a Computer Science Teacher to work on a supply basis in secondary schools across Harrogate.

The role:
As a Supply Computer Science Teacher, you’ll step into local secondary schools to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and occasionally KS5, depending on the school). You’ll be:
*Teaching Computer Science lessons using pre‑planned work or light adaptation where needed
*Covering topics such as programming, algorithms, and digital skills
*Keeping students engaged and on task throughout the day
*Managing classroom behaviour in a calm, positive way
*Working alongside friendly and supportive school staff
We’re looking for someone who:
*Holds QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
*Has a good understanding of Computer Science
*Feels confident leading a classroom
*Is reliable, flexible, and professional
*Enjoys helping students develop their computing and problem‑solving skills
