Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant looking for a part-time opportunity in a primary school? We’re currently recruiting for an LSA to support children in Foundation 2 at a primary school on the Wirral, with an ASAP start and ongoing work available.
This role would suit someone with experience working with young children who is confident supporting pupils with additional needs and enjoys helping children develop their confidence, communication and independence.
About the Role
Supporting pupils within a Foundation 2 classroom
Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team
Providing support to children with SEN
Helping pupils engage with learning and play-based activities
Supporting children’s communication, social skills and independence
Encouraging positive behaviour and confidence
Helping create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working as an LSA, TA or within an Early Years setting
Experience supporting children with SEN/additional needs is highly desirable
A caring, patient and nurturing approach
Someone who is confident working with young children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing
