The Role
Full-time PMLD Teaching Assistant role
Supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties
Working closely with teaching staff, therapists, and support professionals
Contributing to a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
Opportunity to make a meaningful difference to pupils’ educational journeys
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual pupil needs
Assist with personal care and mobility where required
Support pupils with communication, sensory, and learning activities
Encourage independence, confidence, and social development
Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to support pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate
Has experience supporting children or young people with PMLD or complex needs
Demonstrates patience, empathy, and resilience
Has strong communication and teamwork skills
Is committed to supporting the wellbeing and development of pupils
Holds relevant qualifications or training in SEND support (desirable)
