About the school & role
Located in Hyde, Tameside, the school is a smaller, one-form-entry primary setting with approximately 220 pupils, including nursery provision.
You’ll take responsibility for a Year 2 class, planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum, supporting pupils as they develop their confidence and prepare for the transition into KS2.
This is a full-time, ongoing position starting ASAP, offering the opportunity to become part of the school team and build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
The ideal candidate
Holds QTS or is an ECT ready to take on their own class, with a good understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
Is confident planning and delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behaviour and adapting teaching to meet different learning abilities.
Is enthusiastic, reliable and approachable, with a genuine passion for primary education and the ability to create a positive classroom environment.
