The Role
As a 1:1 ALN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide individualised support to pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, and behavioural or emotional needs
Assist in implementing personalised learning plans
Support the pupil’s engagement, confidence, and social development
Work closely with teachers, ALNCOs, and external professionals
Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children or young people with ALN (school-based or similar settings)
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential
