New Directions Education are one of the preferred suppliers to schools within Vale of Glamorgan and we are extremely busy. We are looking to increase our bank of 1-1 ALN supports. We have long and short-term, full time and part-time vacancies available. You will be based in a secondary school providing education for pupils aged between 11-18.
To be considered for a role with New Directions you must:
Be confident working with pupils who need extra support within the classroom.
Be able to work closely, communicate well and lease with teachers and other members of staff.
Feel comfortable taking small groups of children and giving 1-1 support.
To be able to adapt different learning approaches to meet the needs of individual pupils
Job Specification
As an 1-1 ALN Teachers you’ll be expected to:
New Directions are looking to recruit for 1-1 roles across our Vale of Glamorgan secondary schools. The desired candidate will have empathy and compassion with the ability to build good relationships with individuals and create a comfortable learning environment to support the individual learning requirements of the pupils.
We are looking for candidates who feel confident to work with a range of different needs who are able to adapt to the quick changing environment that comes with working with ALN. You will be required to collaborate with the teachers to help the pupils understand instructions and school work using learning strategies that work for the individual.
