New Directions are currently recruiting for School Kitchen Assistants to work on a temporary, part-time basis on behalf of our clients based in the Wirral area during term-time.
Duties may include food preparation, cleaning of kitchen and washing dishes during lunch times.
Flexibility and experience in a similar role is required.
As the role will involve working in schools, candidates must have or be willing to self-fund an Enhanced DBS certificate (Criminal Record Check).
A Food Hygiene Certificate is also preferable.
Hours of work and rate of pay dependent on assignment, but will at least meet National Minimum Wage requirements.

We recruit school secretaries who are typically experienced in SIMS, and fully computer literate. You must be able to deal with confidential information, work on a variety of tasks, and deal with public and staff at all levels.
Candidates who have a background in maintenance, decorating, facilities, or in a trade are of interest to us for caretaker roles. This is a responsible role within the school, often being a key holder where you could be required to work split shifts, as well as responding to security alerts on the school’s premises.
Schools often come to New Directions Education for catering staff to work in the school canteen. Ideally, you’ll have an up-to-date Food Hygiene certificate and also have experience in working in a catering role.
