Do you have a passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential? We’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Assistants to join our team, providing valuable support to teachers and pupils across a variety of primary and secondary schools.
As a Classroom Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. You’ll assist the class teacher with daily activities, help manage classroom behaviour, and offer one-to-one or small group support to pupils who may need additional guidance. Your enthusiasm, patience, and strong communication skills will help students feel confident and supported in their learning journey.
This role is ideal for someone with experience working with children in education, childcare, youth work, or similar support settings. If you enjoy being part of a collaborative team and making a meaningful difference every day, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities include:
• Supporting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
• Encouraging and motivating pupils to engage in their learning
• Helping to prepare classroom materials and learning resources
• Providing targeted support to pupils with individual learning needs
• Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion across the classroom
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has experience working with children or young people
• Is confident, proactive, and adaptable to different classroom environments
• Uses initiative to support both teachers and pupils effectively
• Brings a caring, patient, and professional approach to every interaction
