The Role

• Full-time Cover Supervisor position
• Leading pre-planned lessons across a range of subject areas
• Supporting student engagement and maintaining a productive learning environment

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise classes during teacher absences and ensure pupils remain focused on learning objectives
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and instructions confidently
• Maintain high standards of behaviour in line with school policies
• Provide guidance and support to students as required during lessons
• Report on student progress, behaviour, and engagement to teaching staff
• Contribute positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate

• Has experience working with children or young people
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Is confident managing groups of students and promoting positive behaviour
• Can remain calm and adaptable in a busy school environment
• Shows enthusiasm for supporting student success and wellbeing
• Previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential
