We are currently working with a number of secondary schools in and around the Leeds area, that are looking for experienced Cover Supervisors to supervise students across KS3 and KS4 during short term teacher absence and assist in preparing classrooms and materials required for each lesson.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will cover lesson across all subjects using the guidance and lesson plans left for you by qualified teachers, set expectations and manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
You will need:
Experience of working in a classroom
Experience of behaviour management and promoting a positive learning environment
To be adaptable and confident enough to deliver set lesson plans
Have a strong understanding of safeguarding policies to assist in keeping children safe
Work with other members of the teaching team to assist students in achieving the highest outcomes
