The Role:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring examinations run smoothly, fairly and in accordance with exam board regulations. You will help create a calm and professional environment where students can perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare examination rooms prior to the start of exams.
Check attendance and verify candidate identities.
Distribute and collect exam papers and materials.
Ensure examination regulations are followed at all times.
Supervise students throughout exam sessions.
Respond appropriately to any issues that arise during examinations.
Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation.
Requirements:
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to remain calm, professional and vigilant.
Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
Previous experience working in schools is beneficial but not essential.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one, is essential.
