We are currently seeking a confident, enthusiastic and dedicated Welsh-Speaking Cover Supervisor to work within a range of secondary schools across Anglesey. This is an excellent opportunity for a fluent Welsh speaker who is passionate about education and enjoys supporting students’ learning, maintaining a positive classroom environment and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
Working on a supply basis, you will have the opportunity to supervise classes across a variety of subjects, delivering pre-prepared lesson materials, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged and on task. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and school leadership teams to maintain high standards of behaviour, promote positive learning experiences and encourage the use of the Welsh language within the school environment.
We welcome applications from experienced Cover Supervisors, Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants and candidates with relevant transferable skills who have a strong command of the Welsh language and excellent communication skills. Confidence, adaptability, effective classroom management and a proactive approach are essential for this role. Previous experience working within a school setting is desirable.
