We are currently recruiting Level 2 and Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across the Wirral.
With demand continuing to grow, we are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Early Years practitioners who are passionate about supporting children during the most important stages of their development.
The Role
Supporting children within Nursery and Reception classes
Assisting with play-based learning and classroom activities
Supporting children’s social, emotional and educational development
Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required
Helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
What We’re Looking For
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant/Early Years qualification (essential)
Experience working within an EYFS setting
Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS Framework
A nurturing, patient and proactive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant

As a teaching assistant you’ll be expected to:
Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and help monitor their progress
Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
