ew Directions Education is currently recruiting a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in an Ofsted-rated Outstanding, two-form entry primary school in Southport. This is an excellent opportunity for an early years professional who is passionate about supporting young children at a vital stage of their development.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing within a high-quality Early Years setting.

The Role:
Support children across Nursery and Reception within the EYFS setting.
Work alongside the class teacher to deliver activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
Support children’s development in key areas including communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, and early literacy and numeracy.
Provide 1:1 and small group support where required.
Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working in an EYFS or early years setting is highly desirable.
A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
Good understanding of child development and early learning strategies.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide employment references covering the last 5 years.
