The Role:
Support pupils in the classroom under the guidance of the class teacher
Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and engagement
Assist with classroom preparation and daily routines
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Learn and develop skills through on-the-job training and mentoring
The Ideal Candidate:
A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their development
Experience in care, social care, coaching, youth work, or similar roles is highly valued
Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach
Willingness to learn and take guidance from experienced staff
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide references covering the last 5 years
