New Directions are currently recruiting for a Year 2 Teacher to work in a welcoming primary school based in Salford, starting as soon as possible. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role:
Full-time class teacher role, planning and delivering engaging lessons to a Year 2 class in line with the National Curriculum and supporting pupils as they prepare for the end of Key Stage 1.
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using formative and summative assessment to inform planning and ensure all children make excellent progress.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, working closely with Teaching Assistants, parents, and the wider school team to support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
The Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2, with a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and end-of-key-stage expectations. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also encouraged to apply.
