New Directions Education are currently recruiting a flexible and committed PPA Teacher to work in primary schools across Winsford. This role is ideal for enthusiastic teachers who enjoy working across different year groups and delivering high-quality lessons to ensure continuity of learning during teachers’ Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time.
Schools in the Winsford area are supportive and inclusive, offering welcoming environments where staff work collaboratively to promote high standards of teaching and learning.
Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.
The Role:
• Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2
• Ensuring continuity of learning during class teachers’ PPA time
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
• Adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
• Providing feedback to class teachers on pupil progress and learning
• Supporting the wider school community where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• The flexibility and confidence to teach across different year groups
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and professional approach
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and curriculum expectations
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
