We are currently recruiting flexible and reliable General Cover Teachers to work across secondary schools in the Harrogate area. This is a particularly high demand area currently.
This role is ideal for qualified teachers seeking flexible work, whether you’re looking for short‑term assignments, regular cover, or a better work‑life balance. You’ll step into pre‑planned lessons, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining positive classroom environments.
The Role
Deliver pre‑set lessons across a range of subjects
Maintain classroom behaviour and a supportive learning environment
Manage the classroom effectively in the absence of the regular teacher
Adapt confidently to different school settings and age groups
About You
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Be confident managing a classroom and engaging pupils
Be flexible, professional, and adaptable
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
ECTs, experienced teachers, and semi‑retired teachers are welcome to apply
