Are you ready to shape the future generation while building a career that truly makes a difference? If you’re a recent graduate with a passion for education, wellbeing, or supporting young people, this is your chance to step into a role where your impact is felt every single day. New Directions Education is working with schools across Cheshire East to find enthusiastic, compassionate graduates who want to inspire, motivate, and support pupils to reach their full potential.
As a Teaching Assistant, you won’t just be “helping out” in the classroom – you’ll be a vital part of each student’s learning journey. You’ll work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment. From boosting confidence and behaviour to supporting academic progress and emotional wellbeing, your role will directly shape how young people see themselves and their future.
This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real classroom experience, develop essential communication and leadership skills, and explore whether a career in education, psychology, youth work, or social care is right for you. No two days are the same – one moment you may be supporting a child with reading, the next you could be encouraging a student who just needs someone to believe in them.
If you’re driven, empathetic, and eager to make a genuine difference, this role offers more than just experience – it offers purpose. Join New Directions Education and become part of a team that is changing lives, one classroom at a time.
