The role will involve:
Delivering engaging and inspiring History lessons across KS3 and/or KS4.
Encouraging students to develop their knowledge, curiosity and critical thinking.
Building positive relationships and creating a classroom where students feel motivated to learn.
Providing general cover lessons when required.
Working alongside a supportive team of teachers and school staff.
Helping students achieve their academic and personal potential.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has QTS or relevant teaching experience.
Has experience teaching History within a secondary school.
Is passionate about their subject and enjoys bringing History to life.
Can confidently manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment.
Is adaptable, reliable and happy to deliver general cover when required.
Has high expectations of students and is committed to helping them succeed.
