New Directions Education is working with primary schools across Leeds that are looking for confident, motivated and highly skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) who can make a strong impact in the classroom.

What You’ll Be Doing
-Delivering high‑quality learning sessions across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
-Leading small‑group interventions to raise attainment and support progress
-Providing whole‑class cover as required
-Supporting teachers with planning, preparation and classroom organisation
-Promoting positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and engagement
-Assisting with assessment, feedback and pupil monitoring
-Contributing to a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
Who We’re Looking For
-Qualified HLTAs or experienced TAs ready to step into an HLTA role
-Strong classroom practitioners with excellent communication skills
-Confident in delivering learning independently and managing behaviour effectively
-Knowledgeable about the primary curriculum
-Adaptable, reliable and committed to supporting pupil development
-Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
