About the Role

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. You will work closely with school staff to maintain high standards of teaching and learning while creating a positive and nurturing classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assess and monitor pupil progress effectively
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Manage classroom behaviour positively and consistently
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Contribute to the wider life of the school where required

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
• Passion for helping children achieve their full potential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
