As a Key Stage One Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire young learners and support their academic, social and emotional development. You will create a positive classroom environment, assess pupil progress, and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
Work closely with teaching assistants, school staff and parents.
Support pupils’ personal and educational development.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching within Key Stage One.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
