What will you be doing?
As a Supply Primary Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Deliver engaging and purposeful lessons across the primary age range
Create a positive, inclusive and welcoming classroom environment
Keep pupils motivated, engaged and supported throughout the school day
Manage behaviour confidently and consistently
Adapt your approach to meet the needs of individual learners
Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
Work positively with teaching and support staff
Help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally
What we’re looking for
We’d love to hear from Primary Teachers who are:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or eligible to register
Confident managing a primary classroom
Passionate about helping children succeed
Reliable, professional and adaptable
Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Comfortable working across different school environments
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply. Supply teaching can be a fantastic way to gain experience, build confidence and discover the schools and settings that are right for you.
DBS & registration
You’ll need:
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or we can support you with obtaining a new DBS
EWC registration to work in schools in Wales
The right to work in the UK
