Job Description

New Directions is currently recruiting for a Humanities Teacher for an excellent SEMH setting in North Manchester. This is a longer-term, full-time position commencing after February half-term.

The School:

  • Strong senior leadership team who create a calm, supportive environment to work in
  • Specialist provision that caters for learners with SEMH & Complex Needs
  • Small tailored classes with a strong focus on teaching and learning

The Role:

  • Humanities teaching, History and RE – across KS3-4
  • Full class teacher responsibilities for marking, planning and assessment
  • Full time – Monday to Friday – 8:30am -4pm

The Candidate:

  • Holding Qualified Teacher Status
  • Recent experience teaching KS3-4 Humanities to GCSE (in a SEMH or secondary setting)
