£450-£500 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

New Directions are currently recruiting for an SEMH Keyworker for a specialist provision in North Manchester. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Full-time pupil support role providing targeted support to children in KS3, assisting with both academic and emotional development
  • Specifically supporting pupils with SEMH and associated behavioral needs through use of de-escalation techniques
  • Supporting across the curriculum, the ideal SEMH Keyworker will support learners in a range of subjects

The Candidate:

  • Holding a Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential. A Team Teach qualification is desirable but not essential as training can be provided by New Directions Education
  • Experience working with learners with SEMH needs in a classroom setting is preferred; however, we also welcome applications from individuals with backgrounds in care, support work, sports coaching, or psychology.
