Job Description

New Directions are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants for Primary Schools in the Torfaen area. We are able to offer work to suit your schedule whether it be full time/part time. You will need to be caring and passionate about working with children. The right candidate will be reliable with good communication skills. We are looking for candidates who are able to assist children/teachers in achieving their daily tasks/ long term goals. Ideally we are looking for candidates that have experience working with children, however we do consider candidates with transferrable skills, eg. Sports coaches, social care workers, nursing etc.

To work in an Additional Learning Needs (ALN) role you will need:

• Ideally experience working in an ALN environment or from a care background
• An excellent track record
• Flexibility and adaptability to work short-term and long-term.
