About the Role
We are currently recruiting for dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work in schools across Penarth. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in a nurturing environment and make a real difference to their education and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
· Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
· Support pupils with a range of additional learning needs (ALN)
· Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence in learning
· Help manage behaviour in line with school policies
· Support pupils during lessons, breaktimes, and school activities
· Liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to track pupil progress
