Supply Primary Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Northfleet

Your role will include:

  • Providing support to teachers and pupils across different year groups and subjects.
  • Working with children 1:1 or in small groups to help them overcome challenges and achieve progress.
  • Creating and maintaining a positive, engaging atmosphere in the classroom.
  • Supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in reaching their milestones.
  • Helping prepare creative, interactive learning materials.
  • Observing and feeding back on pupils’ progress to help tailor future learning.

What we’re looking for:

  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with children of all abilities.
  • Strong communication and the ability to build positive relationships quickly.
  • Flexibility and confidence to adapt to new classes and settings at short notice.
  • Previous experience in a school environment is preferred, though other relevant education experience will be considered.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
