What you’ll do
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils, including those with additional learning needs (ALN)
Assist the class teacher with learning activities, behaviour support, and differentiated tasks
Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour in line with school policies
Prepare resources, support with assessments/observations, and contribute to classroom routines
Foster pupils’ social, emotional, and communication skills
What we’re looking for
Experience supporting children (school, nursery, youth work, tutoring, sports coaching, or care)
Understanding of ALN/ASN/SEN strategies (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech & language, SEMH) is an advantage
Calm, patient and proactive approach with strong communication skills
Reliable, punctual and a team player who uses initiative
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE/NCFE, Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential
