As one of the preferred suppliers in the area, New Directions are seeking Newly Qualified Teacher’s to work in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes either on a day to day supply basis (which will still contribute to your NQT hours) or on a long-term basis which could lead to a permanent contract. Daily supply for an NQT is great as you get to experience a variety of schools, get to know their ethos and will help you decide on where you would like to work in the future.
New Directions is also committed to your learning and development and offer a variety of online courses which are accredited and a certified. We also offer essential on-site training such as Team Teach, First Aid and British Sign Language provided by well recognized professionals in our brand new Llanishen office.
As an NQT, you will also have a dedicated NQT consultant in addition to your Account Manager, who can answer all of your questions during your induction year. We also hold Webinars/Seminars for your support with guest speakers who are leaders in the industry.
NQT’s will also benefit from our newly launched NQT Support Programme where you will also have a dedicated NQT consultant, talks/webinars from the EWC and Central South Consortium as well as valuable advice from Headteacher’s on what to expect in your NQT year, Lesson Observation tips and CV/Cover letter advise.
