Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Primary School Supply
Are you passionate about making a difference in education while embracing the flexibility of supply work? We are currently seeking a passionate, nurturing Learning Support Assistant to support a range of reputable primary schools across Swanley and nearby areas on a supply basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who enjoys the rewards of a dynamic schedule, working in varied educational settings, and helping children of all abilities achieve their unique learning goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils across a variety of subjects and year groups.
Deliver 1:1 or small group interventions to ensure pupils receive the tailored, dedicated support they need.
Assist in managing classroom behaviour and creating a warm, engaging environment for learners.
Support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to access learning and feel fully included.
Prepare learning resources and contribute to engaging classroom activities.
Offer feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and development.
What We’re Looking For:
A genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s education and development.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Adaptability to work across different schools, age groups, and learning needs.
Experience working in schools is advantageous but not essential.
A valid enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
