Job Description

A Behaviour Unit in the Vale, looking for a behaviour specialist for a long term role. Someone with experience of working with behaviour is essential. The successful applicant would be someone who is confident of working with pupils of all ages and would be comfortable taking instruction from the class teacher. They would also be expected to implement their own strategies when working with small groups of pupils in the class or with pupils on a one to one basis.

This position is to start as soon as possible and will be running until at least the end of the Summer Term. Both the School and New Directions will be up-skilling the successful candidate, by providing constant training and support. The level of training on offer would depend on the candidate’s existing qualifications and willing to attend courses made available to them.

The school is located at a fairly remote location in The Vale. It would therefore be likely that the successful candidate was a driver or had another form of transport to reach the school independently, as there are minimal public transport links to get the school
