New Directions Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work within welcoming and supportive primary schools across the Pontypool area.

The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support children with additional learning needs where required
Encourage pupil confidence, engagement, and development
We Are Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
A positive, nurturing, and proactive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential
