Supply Primary Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Dartford and Surrounding Areas

Working as an LSA is a rewarding opportunity to support children with varying learning requirements in their journey to achieving their individual milestones.

Duties:

  • Supporting teachers and pupils across various year groups and subjects.
  • Delivering focused 1:1 or small-group interventions to help learners thrive.
  • Promoting a positive learning environment and encouraging student engagement.
  • Assisting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Contributing to the preparation of creative and interactive learning resources.
  • Feeding back on pupil progress to teaching staff and helping to tailor learning.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with children of all abilities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Flexibility and confidence to adapt quickly in new settings.
  • Previous school-based experience is preferred, other kinds of education experience will be considered.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
