Learning Support Assistant, Foundation Stage 2, Wirral

Job Description

We are working with a friendly and inclusive primary school on the Wirral who are looking to appoint a full-time Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support within an F2 classroom from September.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children during their early years and helping them to thrive both academically and socially.

The Role

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil within F2
• Supporting learning through play-based and structured activities
• Encouraging engagement, independence and confidence
• Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children within a school or Early Years setting
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable
• A patient, caring and proactive approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Reliable and committed to a long-term role
