Job Description

We are working with a friendly and nurturing primary school in the Irby area that is looking to appoint a part-time Teaching Assistant to support within their F1 classroom from September until Christmas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about Early Years and enjoys helping young children develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.

The Role

• Supporting children within the F1 classroom
• Assisting with play-based learning and daily classroom activities
• Encouraging children’s social, emotional and communication development
• Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning experiences
• Helping to create a safe, positive and stimulating environment for all pupils

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children within an EYFS or primary school setting
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Reliable and committed to the role throughout the autumn term
