New DirectionsLiverpool is currently recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and well-regarded SEND school in Southport, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. This rewarding role involves providing tailored support to pupils with Autism (ASD) and Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD), helping them to access learning and thrive in a nurturing environment.
The position is due to start in September 2025 and will run until July 2026, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact over the full academic year.
Responsibilities of the role included but are not limited to:
Have excellent communication skills.
Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff.
Be encouraging and supportive.
Have a positive attitude towards teaching and aiding children’s development.
Ensure the safety and well-being of the student.

Job Specification
Have experience working with children, or adults, with additional needs
Hold a L2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
