Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Nursery & Early Years, Cardiff

Job Description

New Directions Education is looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work within a range of nursery and Early Years settings across Cardiff and the surrounding areas.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in fast-paced environments, can build positive relationships with young children, and is confident supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.

The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you may be required to:

• Support children within nursery and Early Years settings
• Assist with learning through play and child-led activities
• Promote children’s social, emotional and developmental progress
• Support children with additional learning needs (ALN)
• Help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment
• Work closely with nursery staff and wider professionals
• Assist with routine care and daily activities where required

We Are Looking For

Candidates who:

• Hold a recognised Level 3 Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification
• Have experience working with young children
• Are reliable, adaptable and proactive
• Can confidently manage busy and varied environments
• Have a positive, energetic and hands-on approach
• Can work effectively as part of a team
• Are passionate about supporting children’s development
