The Role
As a Maths Supply Teacher, you will:
-Deliver pre‑planned Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
-Ensure progress and engagement during teacher absence
-Adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of different learners
-Manage behaviour in line with school policies
-Provide clear explanations, scaffolding and support to help pupils understand key mathematical concepts
-Work collaboratively with school teams to maintain learning continuity
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
-Holds QTS or QTLS (or is an ECT with strong subject knowledge)
-Has experience teaching Maths in a secondary setting
-Is confident, adaptable and able to hit the ground running
-Has strong behaviour management and communication skills
-Enjoys supporting students of all abilities
-Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to high standards
Requirements
-QTS/QTLS (or the equivalent)
-Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
-Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
-Understanding of safeguarding procedures
