New Directions Education is currently recruiting a passionate and committed Maths Teacher to work in a good secondary school in Sefton, supporting pupils from a range of backgrounds, including a high proportion of Pupil Premium learners.

The Role
Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to KS5 provision.
Plan engaging lessons that develop mathematical knowledge, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting is desirable.
Able to deliver KS3 and KS4 Maths topics such as number, algebra, ratio, geometry, statistics and probability, and support students in developing fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of strategies to support Pupil Premium students and close attainment gaps.
Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service, if not already done.
Must have employment references covering the last 5 years.
