Considering a career in teaching?
Want an excellent opportunity to gain real-life and practical classroom experience?
Looking to enhance your chances of securing a PGCE placement?
New Directions Education are currently working with a fantastic school based in Wallasey. This amazing role is for a long-term Cover Supervisor position till the end of the summer term.
The school has a great community feel and this is a fabulous opportunity to gain experience in role that’s thoroughly enjoyable!
If you’re looking for something more flexible for the time being, we also have plenty ad hoc Cover Supervisor roles to suit you.
We have lots of secondary schools needing Cover Supervisors to help step in and cover classes in the absence of the class teacher across key stages three, four and five. You’ll need to be able to engage with students, have a sense of humour as well as a strong classroom presence.
For ad hoc roles sometimes schools will need you on short notice, so you must be adaptable and flexible to their needs and requirements, but there is the added benefit of not having to plan work as this will have already been set in the absence of the teacher. Plus, this gives you a more flexible work schedule that fits around you!
