Are you a passionate and adaptable Maths Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in Leeds?

New Directions Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Maths Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools throughout Leeds. This role is ideal for teachers seeking the flexibility of supply work while still having the opportunity to build relationships within schools and make a lasting impact on students’ education.

While the majority of assignments will involve delivering engaging Maths lessons, there may also be opportunities to provide general classroom cover when required.

The Role

As a Supply Maths Teacher, you will:

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Encourage students to develop confidence and enjoyment in Mathematics
• Adapt to different school environments and teaching settings
• Follow lesson plans and maintain continuity of learning
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Monitor student engagement and provide feedback to school staff
• Undertake general cover lessons across a variety of subjects when required

What We’re Looking For

–  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
–  Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
–  Strong classroom management skills
–  Flexibility, professionalism and adaptability
–  A positive and proactive approach to teaching
–  Excellent communication and organisational skills
