About the Role
As an MFL Teacher, you will deliver engaging and interactive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a modern foreign language.
The successful candidate will be passionate about language learning and committed to creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment where all students can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Inspire students to develop confidence and enthusiasm for language learning
Assess, monitor, and track student progress
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners
Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour
Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages within UK secondary schools
Ability to teach French and/or Spanish
Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Passion for inspiring young people and promoting language learning
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
