New Directions Education are proud to be working alongside the largest schools in Cardiff area and are recruiting on their behalf, NQT’s to work on a supply basis. As one of the preferred suppliers in the area, New Directions are seeking Newly Qualified Teacher’s to work in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes either on a day to day supply basis (which will still contribute to your NQT hours) or on a long-term basis which could lead to a permanent contract. Daily supply for an NQT is great as you get to experience a variety of schools, get to know their ethos and will help you decide on where you would like to work in the future.
At New Directions, we care about the schools and offer a variety of free training to staff as well as the children. We also run regular webinars for our staff on various topics such as the new curriculum, mindfulness and wellbeing and motivation with guest speaker Wales, British and Irish Lions rugby player, Ryan Jones. Our Account Managers also enjoys getting stuck in and will often volunteer to help with various activities within the schools.
