The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging English Language and English Literature lessons.
Support students in achieving their academic potential across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities at Key Stage 5 in some settings.
Mark and assess work in line with school policies where required.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners.
Provide general classroom cover when required, ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained.
We Are Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
A passion for education and student achievement.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A flexible and professional approach to working in different school environments.
